Parmigiano Reggiano is a hard cheese without any additives or preservatives. It is made with milk coming from cows whose feeding mainly consists of forage from the area of origin. Since it is a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) product, its production area includes only the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna and Mantova.
Once selected through the traditional method of tapping, the cheese wheels are aged in the silence. The cheese acquires its typical granular structure and becomes a food with excellent nutritional characteristics, appreciated on tables of the entire world.
